Introduction
4 Star, Signal Hill Lodge is situated on top of Signal Hill in Bo-Kaap. Signal Hill is considered to be an icon and has the historical noon gun canon as well as views overlooking the whole of Cape Town, Cape Town Harbor as well as Table Mountain. It is midway between the town centre and the beaches of Seapoint and abuts onto the path leading to Signal Hill noon gun. The Fynbos Nature Reserve behind the lodge attracts a vast variety of birds and animals. Signal Hill lodge is an unusually artistic guest lodge with exclusive Malay artwork incorporated into the décor. The following services are available: Parking, luggage storeroom, Laundry service, safe at reception and baby cots. Children are welcome at Signal Hill lodge.
Public Areas: The Lounge and Dining room has superb views. Signal Hill Lodge has a swimming pool which is protected from the wind, faces the Town and Bay which offers wonderful views. (Size is approx 6 x 4) Signal Hill Lodge has a large garden which allows guests the opportunity of relaxing.
Activities and facilities in the area: 3km from the Waterfront and walking distance from Town Centre. Facilities within a 3 km radius: CBD with all the accompanying shops including Beauty Parlors, Boutiques, Health Spas, Pharmacies, Saunas, curio shops, the cliff path, Nature Reserve, Museums, Table Mountain and much more.
Medical services: Doctor available to come to lodge (multi lingual)/ private hospital – 5 km
Conference facilities: Our conference venue is able to seat Cinema (max 30 pax) The room size is 18M X 10 M We are able to provide dinners and they can be served as follows:
• A three course set menu in our Dining room or weather permitted, on our terrace.
• A Buffet set menu in our Dining room or weather permitted, on our terrace.
The following equipment is available at no charge: White board and marker, flip chart, multi media projector, television and video.
Accommodation: All our rooms are en-suite. Each room is individually appointed with sophisticated decor. Most Rooms are twin bedded and can be made up into King Size beds on request. All rooms are en-suite and have Satellite TV's, telephones, email wireless and fax, under floor heating, personalized linen, tea coffee facilities.
Rooms enjoy either sea, mountain or garden views and all feature tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, air conditioners, telephones& Plasma Televisions. All rooms are serviced daily and are Non-smoking and no alcohol.
Special Conference Package:
Valid 01 November 07 to 30 February 08. On the basis of minimum 16 guests, minimum stay of two nights, we are able to offer an all inclusive package at R700 per person per day sharing (standard room, upgradeable if available), this will include: Two nights accommodation including full English breakfast, Full day conference with mid morning tea and snack, light lunch, mid afternoon tea and snack, included in this will be all non alcoholic beverages as well as a three course dinner.
